MULOSIGE works from the understanding that World Literature is much more than a means to ‘represent’ a language or culture to a Western audience. As part of our efforts to changing how literatures are read and studied, we have commissioned translations from our regions. This archive – Urdu Perspectives on World Literature – showcases MULOSIGE-commissioned translations of existing Urdu-language essays on world literature.
