Greetings to you, O earth traveller,

For having gone to the heavens

After breaking the limits of earth and time;

Beyond the wind, beyond the void,

Beyond the space of the moon and the Milky Way:

Greetings for raising the curtain from the stars;

For returning after touching the tresses of Venus

And making her listen to the throbbing of humanity’s heart;

Greetings to you, O earth traveller,

For having gone to the heavens

After breaking the limits of earth and time.
