Ūdaipūr palis / Udaipur Palace

At the foot of the hill

There should be a lake

Nearby

A small house

At the door

My nameplate

In bright letters!

Sitting in the doorway

You should be putting shorts

On your little one

You should say

Something in my ear

It should be this way

But it isn’t!

There is a hill

A lake

But

On the lake

High palaces stand guard!!
