Lamhe-i g̲h̲anīmat / God-Sent Moment

O dark earth, smile;

O crushed humanity, lift up your head.

See near the western horizon

A storm has become restive

And in the old gambling den,

The usual gamblers began to wrestle one another.

No one is looking towards you;

These heavy, cold chains,

Though iron, are rusted through;

Today is when they can be broken;

Consider this single moment as God-sent,

O suppressed humanity, lift up your head.
